This Friday April 11th, the film “Zero” gets released on theaters and VOD. This is a film I think is a very good option for those that feel that there are no more good original ideas in the movies.
The director Jean Luc Herbulot brings the story of an American citizen that wakes up on a bus in Dakar (In the African country of Senegal). This man, comprehensively very confused and unable to understand the local language, discovers that someone has attached an explosive device to his torso. The bomb has a time counter in the front and shows a countdown running, being the limit apparently 10 hours.
The man, who from this moment will be known as “One”, receives a call with a voice that he does not recognize. The person on the other side of the call quickly explains that “One” will have to complete 5 missions before the countdown ends and he gets killed. If he tries to remove the bomb or tries to ask for help from the police, the device will explode and the game will be over.
